Volunteers are needed for the setup of the event, during the event as directed by the lead of the event, and for cleanup after the event.

BOX TOPS

BoxTops.jpgThis program lets you give without any additional spending. Families submit box tops (neatly trimmed and clipped, please). Our school redeems them for computers, playground equipment, supplies, and more. Our team leader is responsible for communication, tallying, submission/redemption requests, etc. We always need volunteers to help with various aspects of this program, such as collecting the box tops from classrooms and help with trimming and sorting. Many parts of this job can be done at home.

For more information, visit Box Tops for Education.

CROC WALK

FunRun.jpgThe Croc Walk is the major fundraiser providing funds for school programs and events sponsored by the NRCO. Students solicit pledges from family and friends. This event has a rich history of fun and success. The students enjoy the chance to run or walk around the track to lively recorded music and finish up with a snack while knowing that they are supporting their school. The Nancy Ryles Crocodile mascot makes appearances during the event. This is a great time for parents (yes, even grandparents) to cheer their child on while volunteering to mark laps.

We need several volunteers to assemble pledge packets, count laps at the event, tabulate proceeds, distribute water and snacks, and even appear as our beloved mascot. This is a fun, easy way to help with an important program for our school.
