CLOTHES CLOSET: Beaverton School DistrictClothesCloset.jpg

The Clothes Closet serves identified families in need with the opportunity to select free clothing items.  Nancy Ryles is responsible for providing volunteers to staff the Clothes Closet. The Clothes Closet is located by the district administration offices on Merlo Road. Volunteers either work in the “store” helping clients select clothing, or in the workroom sorting and hanging clothing. Help for half an hour or half a day – we appreciate whatever you can give. Visit the district's page for more information.

LOST & FOUND

LostFound.jpgDespite pleas to label children’s coats and outer garments, our school annually contributes huge loads of unclaimed clothing to the Clothes Closet. We need volunteers during the school year to keep the lost & found area at Nancy Ryles in the front lobby organized and presentable. This is an easy, flexible volunteer opportunity.

SEASON OF CARING

SeasonCaring.jpgDuring the month of December, our school community works together to donate items such as mittens, socks, clothing, toys and gifts to be presented to social services agencies within our community. The team leader works to coordinate the collection and delivery of donations. We need volunteers to help collect donations and make deliveries.
